Mrs. DeMeulenaere began her journey in education in 2005, when she graduated from Wayne State University with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education, specializing in English. Throughout her career, she has taught second grade through sixth grade, technology grades kindergarten through eighth, and special education, fifth through eighth grade. In addition, she completed her Masters Degree in Reading and Literacy in 2011, and began working toward her special education certification, in the area of the Learning Disabilities.
